DuckDuckGo Subscription

The DuckDuckGo subscription is a four-in-one service that gives you extra protection beyond what's already in our web browser to help keep your personal information even more protected from hackers, scammers, and data hungry companies. The subscription is available in two plans: Plus and Pro.

The Plus plan includes:

• VPN: encrypts your Internet connection across browsers and apps on your entire device and hides your location and IP address from the sites you visit.

• Advanced AI models in Duck.ai: lets you chat privately with advanced AI models ideal for complex tasks like coding, problem solving, and reasoning. All Duck.ai chats are anonymized by us and never used to train AI models.

• Personal Information Removal finds and removes your personal details, like your name and physical address, from sites that store and sell it, helping to combat identity theft and spam. Note: Setting up and managing Personal Information Removal requires a device running macOS, iOS, or Windows. Only available in the U.S.

• Identity Theft Restoration gets you back on track if your identity is stolen, helping you fix your credit report and recover financial losses.

The Pro plan includes everything in the Plus plan, as well as the following Duck.ai upgrades:

Claude 4.8 Opus, higher reasoning effort than Plus, and 2x higher usage limits than Plus.

You can subscribe to DuckDuckGo via the Settings menu in the DuckDuckGo browser, available on iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows, or via our website. The VPN, Personal Information Removal, and Identity Theft Restoration can only be accessed from the DuckDuckGo browser, while Duck.ai can be used in any browser. The DuckDuckGo subscription is currently available to residents of the U.S., U.K., E.U., and Canada; full list of countries here. Feature availability varies by region.
