# Does DuckDuckGo share my search or browsing history with Microsoft?

No, per our strict [Privacy Policy](/content/privacy/index.html):

- "We don’t save or share your search or browsing history when you search on DuckDuckGo or use our apps and extensions."

- "In the process of delivering our search results and other content, we also prevent our hosting and content providers from creating a history of your searches and browsing."

Regarding Microsoft specifically, see this [blog post](https://spreadprivacy.com/more-privacy-and-transparency/) about our Web Tracking Protections: "Microsoft scripts are not and have never been embedded in our search engine or apps, which do not track you."
